Integrated  Drop Ship Serial Tracking

Add Serial Tracking Capability to your Dynamics GP for Drop Ship Orders! You can enter and save Serial Numbers in the normal Invoice Match Process.

Main Features 

• When drop ship orders contain duplicate line items, serial numbers are auto-fulfilled for the line items with the earliest "Requested Ship Date".
• If the "Requested Ship Date" is the same for duplicate items, the item with the smallest quantity is fulfilled first.

• Items can be received manually or automatically using the Auto-Invoice and Auto-Receive buttons.
• Inquiries for serial numbers reference the Drop Ship orders after the invoice is posted.
• Drop Ship Serial Number tracking for component products only. Kit level tracking is not currently supported.
• This enhancement is used for Serial Number tracking only. Lot tracking is not currently supported.
• Serial Numbers associated with a Purchase Order can be viewed from the Purchase Order Processing Item Inquiry window.
• Serial Numbers associated with a Sales Document can be viewed from the Sales Transaction Inquiry Zoom window.
• Item Serial Numbers can be viewed on the Sales Serial-Lot Number Inquiry.

What is Drop Ship Serial Tracking?

Azox Drop Ship Serial Number Tracking enhancement allows you to record the serial numbers for Drop Ship orders quickly and easily during the Match Invoice to PO function. Serial numbers are automatically linked to the Sales Invoice and printed on the Customer Invoices automatically. This easy-to-use interface provides a quick and accurate method to ensure a complete history of serialized products sold to your customers is available.

Serial Number Tracking for Drop Ships is fully integrated with the Serial Number Tracking already present in the standard Dynamics GP implementation. After the Drop Ship Cycle is completed, the item's serial number can be found through the Purchase Order Processing Item Inquiry window by browsing the Receiving Number or using the Sales Transaction Inquiry Zoom window through the Qty Fulfill field detail button.

Why Drop Ship Serial Tracking?

Drop Ship Serial Number Tracking allows you to record and track a complete history of the serialized products your company sells to customers. The standard Dynamics GP implementation will track the serial numbers for products that are Received and Shipped from the company's warehouses. However, when products are Drop Shipped directly from your Vendor to your Customer, Serial Number tracking does not occur.
